For discerning beer drinkers, this is as close as it gets to paradise. With 15 beers on tap and close to 300 in bottles, from 20 different countries, the Cervecería Internacional has been going strong for 25 years. The walls are choc-a-bloc with beer bottles and their accompanying glasses, beer artwork and mirrors, and pretty much any kind of beer memorabilia imaginable. It’s almost always busy, and although the beer is the featured attraction there’s also a nice selection of hearty homemade tapas, such as garbanzos with salt cod, fabes (beans) with sausage, and grilled bratwurst, along with a variety of montaditos (little sandwiches) and cheeses. There’s a lively atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Oh, and did I mention the beer?
