Miss TEM

Miss TEM is the newest addition to Plaza San Francisco. Owner Javier Gil (who also has Cata 50, in Avda República Argentina) says the name is a homage to his grandmother, who in times of crisis used to say “Todo es Mejorable” (everything is improvable), and Gil created this acronym for his own latest creation. Miss TEM is an attractive modern space, with a bar at the entrance that opens onto a dining area. There are also tables out on the sidewalk and in the square. Tapas can be had at the bar (and at one long table that extends into the dining room).

The menu is Mediterranean, with a good selection of traditional stews, fish and meat dishes. We especially enjoyed the grilled octopus and rolled stuffed pork. The wine list is good, as is the service. Open all day, every day.
