At the north end of the Encarnación Market (near the Plaza Regina exit) you’ll find Pepe at Café-Bar Encarnación, serving up fabulous fresh fish, grilled or fried, along with fabulous homemade stews. Needless to say it’s all market-fresh and the prices are unbeatable at 2 euros a tapa. Everything’s a bit rough & ready, and it’s self-service at the tables, but the beer is cold (as is the manzanilla en rama) and the food is terrific. A great place to stop for a quick lunch or snack while shopping. Also open for breakfast.
