Just a couple of doors down from my favourite wine bar Puracepa, owner Juan Carlos García’s Albarama has proven to be a success that continues to evolve. Chef Diego Solis’s exquisite tapas list also has daily tapas specials depending on what’s fresh at the market that day. Have not yet tried the dining room, prettily situated in the back patio, but the menu looks amazing – will let you know when I do. Oh, and the dark-clad waiters? Not as serious as they look. In fact they’re not serious at all – no “attitude” here, just good professional and personable service. Also … a fabulous wine list.
Classic cool cocktail bar Lab4 (opened October 2011) above Puracepa. For members only.
