If I lived in Porvenir Sur Bar & Tapas would be one of my “go-to” neighbourhood tapas bars. It has gone through a few changes since it first opened late 2009 but still offers excellent food prepared by chef Miguel Díaz (from the much-missed Gastromium). There are tapas and larger “platos para compartir” (dishes to share) that are efficiently served by knowledgable and friendly staff. The chalkboard menu changes regularly so you can always find new things to try. Very good wine list too. A bit of a trek from the city centre but well worth a visit.
