Triana, on the west bank of the Guadalquivir River, remains one of Sevilla’s most unique and distinctive barrios, though trianeros feel strongly that it is actually a separate entity altogether. Triana is well-known for its traditional pottery and tile industry and a vibrant flamenco culture. It is also the home of many excellent tapas bars.
Our Tasting Triana Tour starts off at Triana Market where we’ll have a stroll around while you learn about the fresh fish, meats and produce on display. After sampling some delicious jamón Ibérico with a glass of chilled fino sherry, we’ll head off to three of Triana’s best loved tapas bars, two traditional and one modern, taking you through the barrio’s little side streets and along bustling pedestrianized areas. (Note: this is a tasting tour and not suitable for children or people with dietary restrictions, and it is not available in August).
