La Parrilla del Badaluque specialises in meat cooked Argentinian barbeque style (a la parrilla), and also offers an interesting variety of salads and starters, including a good selection of vegetarian options. Our only disappointment was the bruschetta, which was basically cheese on toast and a bit dull – for a better starter option try the empanadas. But the grilled meats are heaven and the parrilla for two at 25€ is both excellent value and totally stuffifying. A short & sweet wine list offers several decent wines by the glass at sensible prices.
Recently expanded and renovated without losing its cosy feel inside, there is also quite an ample terrace where you can take in the Alameda action. There has also been a change of name to help avoid confusion with El Badulaque pizzeria on the corner of calle Calatrava.
