Having now lived next to the Plaza Alfalfa for just over a year, Casa Antonio-Bar Los Caracoles has definitely become my neighbourhood favourite, especially since they started serving a nice rueda verdejo.
Now going into the third generation of “Antonios”, for over 50 years this family-run restaurant has been serving up traditional Andalusian cooking, including tasty snails, along with great service and a very pleasant ambiance. All warm wood and cosy inside, and a fabulous terrace just off the main square. Very good value for money here – I still have to try their Argentinian beef brochettes, but the grilled monkfish and prawn one is amazing.
