Sevilla’s original “gourmet food court” is located on the top floor of El Corte Inglés (Plaza del Duque) with a large terrace offering great views of the city. There are six different “experiences” on offer, as well as a wide selection of gourmet food items and wines. Everything is quite swish with chic black Reisenthel trolleys to hold your shopping, and the staff are attentive and knowledgeable.
The idea is a good one – you can pick and choose from the various food options and either eat at the seating provided at each place or move over to the tables in the central communal space, or out onto the terrace.
It looks like El Corte Inglés is following the same formula used at their other GE sites in Madrid and Málaga with a “something for everyone” mix, in this case of mostly local companies. Open all day, including Sundays and (most) holidays.
