Concha Bejarano and Pepe Álvarez, previously with Blanca Paloma, have opened their own place on the edge of Triana. It looks like a typical toda-la-vida tapas bar, with some tall tables in front of the bar, a few tables along the wall (raciones only) and a sidewalk terrace. But the menu offers a few surprises, so be sure to check out the house specialities.
Loved the chocos fritos (fabulous), the battered bacalao (very nice) and the solomillo al whisky (one of the best I’ve had in Sevilla). Decent wine list and very friendly service.
