Opened in mid-2020 by sevillano Javier Olivares this unpretentious bar was quick to make a name for itself. The bar is small and very simply decorated with a high ceiling and white walls. In front of the service bar there are a few high tables and next to that some low wooden tables with (heavy!) black wrought iron chairs. All in all there is seating for about 20.
The menu is also small, but well thought out, with a mix of classic and innovative tapas, based on local products that are mostly bought at neighbourhood traditional food shops, butchers, and fishmongers. The pajarito frito is tasty (though a bit unnerving to look at), and we also loved the crispy confit pig ear sandwich, beef tongue on toast and lovely crispy artichokes in tempura. Good wine list and pleasant service.
