Another “new” bar (well, new to me) that’s been going for twenty-five years. It was recommended by a friend a while ago and, as luck would have it, my first visit was during their last service before summer holidays (oops!). So there wasn’t much fish or seafood (house specialty) available. But what we tried was very good and I hope to get back after the holidays.
The bar is eensy, just 3-4 stools, and opens onto a small dining room. An ample terrace makes up for the lack of space indoors. It’s a short menu, with the focus on fresh fish and seafood mostly from Huelva and Portugal, and much of it sold by weight. But there is also a nice tapas list, with a mix of meat, fish and veggie options. Service is friendly – you can tell it’s a “mostly locals” kind of place.
