Bodega Bar Lairén

Bar Lairén is very much a casual barrio beer bar. Opened in 1985 by Manuel and Tiófilo Pinto, the brothers decided to close their establishment in the summer of 2022. Just over a year later the bar was refurbished and reopened by a loyal long-time client who didn’t want to see his favourite bar disappear. Fernando Picazo has left the place pretty much as it was, including the menu, though there have been a few tweaks. Aside from the cosy bar area inside there is also a side walk terrace.

Open for breakfast, Bar Lairén also offers a selection of toasted montaditos, some cold dishes, charcuterie and traditional stews. It’s a friendly place to stop in for an ice-cold beer and a snack.
