This is the second Alimentari location by the Falzarano brothers, Antonio and Lorenzo (the original is in Bartolomé de Medina) with Alessandro Mastroianni as front of house. To be honest I’ve mostly had pizzas here – fluffy crispy Neapolitan style cooked on a massive oven stone – and they are terrific. We’ve also enjoyed several of the “tapita” and antipasti and will no doubt try more of the pastas and other dishes one day, if we can stop ordering pizzas all the time (but they are just so damn good). The menu has an extensive selection of salads, pastas, risottos, fish and meat dishes.
The restaurant is stylish, airy and comfortable, with a pleasant and ample side walk terrace. Good Italian wines, great service.
Very central, just off Reyes Católicos, it has also become my fave pizza take away place because it is dangerously close to my house.
