Outside of Andalucía (and even sometimes here too!), sherry remains quite possibly the most misunderstood wine in the world. For many the name is likely to conjure up the standard cliché of a sticky sweet dark liquid that granny would produce from the back of a cupboard at Christmas time. But nothing could be further from the truth and as a certified Sherry Educator I feel it is my mission to dispel these misconceptions by introducing you to sherry the way we enjoy it here in southern Spain.

This unique experience takes place at Casa Morales, an iconic family-run bar founded in 1850, perfect for our small groups of 2-6 people.

During the Sherry & Tapas Tasting you will try six distinct wines – four dry and two sweet – perfectly paired with regional treats. Some of the pairings may surprise you. You will learn about the origins of sherry, the unique solera/criadera ageing system, and best of all you will get to taste 6 quality sherries as they were meant to be tasted. With good food and friends.
