The Sherry & Tapas Experience is an introduction to the wonderful world of sherry. It will be a fun and informative afternoon out with a Certified Sherry Educator (me!) during which you will learn about the basics of the sherry-making process while tasting 6 different wines as you visit two tapas bars that are recognised as having an excellent selection of sherries by the glass.
First we will enjoy typical starters, then move on to hot dishes, and finish with dessert or cheese. Each dish will be paired with a specially selected sherry wine that will help you appreciate and enjoy the qualities of each one you try.
Note: this activity is not suitable for people with strict food preferences or allergies.
The Sherry & Tapas Experience lasts approximately 3.5 hours (starting at 1.30 pm) and is available Monday – Friday. You will met at our first location and walking time between the two bars will be about 10 minutes. Afterwards you will be given a booklet on sherry from the Sherry Council and my list of recommended tapas bars to visit while you are in Sevilla.
