The 11th annual edition of evening concerts in the spectacular Alcázar royal gardens continues into September, with a selection of Medieval, Classical, Flamenco, Jazz & Blues … truly a magical experience.

This is kinda cool, though I don’t understand why so much time
was spent on the old Expo site – to me that’s not the “real” Sevilla.

This is something I have been looking for ever since I moved to Sevilla – a place to recycle used but still usable clothing. This one is located on the corner of Paseo Catalina de Ribera & Cano y Cueto, at the end of the Jardines de Murillo, next to the underground parking. If you know of any others then please let me know and I’ll add them to the map.

Today the Cine de Verano at the Diputación de Sevilla (Puerta de la Carne) opens for another summer of watching films under the stars. It’s a fabulous venue inside a beautiful palace patio and there is even a bar at the back serving drinks and snacks. Most of the films are shown dubbed into Spanish (pet peeve of mine) but on Sundays there are subtitled original version films.
