This original location, with its charming rustic ambiance and wonderful hand-painted Triana tiles everywhere, was founded in 1962 by Eduardo Rodriguez.  At the end of the 70’s it became the property of Paco Arcas, whose three sons – and their children – continue to run it to this day. The long curved bar on the main floor is standing room only, with a small mezzanine dining area above it and another dining room across the street. Tapas are available at the bar, raciones are served in the dining areas. There is also a second location around the corner.

Not kidding – you must try the radishes! I have no idea what makes them so amazing, and I have never seen radishes offered as a tapa anywhere else (other than the other Las Golondrinas), but they are totally delish. Also delicious grilled mushrooms filled with garlic and parsley alioli and excellent puntas de solomillo served on fresh bread. I also love the caballito – a slice of fried jamón on bread (the perfect hangover remedy). You can ask for a punta al galope – a combo of the punta and caballito (not on the menu) – and… it’s an even better hangover remedy! A wonderful family-run establishment with great homestyle cooking.
