I guess everyone in Spain remembers where they were ten years ago today when they heard the terrible news, that simultaneous, coordinated terrorist bombings on ten commuter trains approaching Atocha station in Madrid took the lives of 191 people and wounded 1,800.
These photos are of an anti-terrorism protest that was put up yesterday in Plaza Encarnación. “Walls of peace” and two murals by artist MULA (Ramón Lez). We will never forget 11M.
I don’t normally get political here as I can only vote in municipal elections, but you have to admit this is quite wonderful. Thanks to the Noneuclidian Party, Spaniards will have another option this Sunday. 🙂
