A legendary family-run neighbourhood bar founded in 1929, La Mina is THE place for locals in the centre to begin their evening tapeo<\/em> or enjoy a light lunch out on the sunny terrace in the afternoons. There is a cosy bar space and several tables out on the terrace in buzzy Plaza de la Pescader\u00eda. Rules are clear – if you order at the bar you have to stay inside at the bar. If you’ve managed to score an outdoor table then a waiter will take your order there.<\/p>\n

Their speciality is caracoles<\/em>, small snails cooked in a spicy broth, which are only offered when “in season” (approx April-June). You can also get tasty montaditos<\/em> along with chicharrones de C\u00e1diz (sliced seasoned pork belly) and exceptional mojama (dried tuna). The beer is cold and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. There is also a good selection of sherries, including La Gitana manzanilla on tap. Give it a try for a taste of genuine Sevilla (or Sanl\u00facar).<\/p>\n
