This is roughly the area around the Museo de Bellas Artes, between the commercial centre and the river, from the Puerto de Triana to San Lorenzo. Partly inside the line of the city walls (mostly demolished in the 19th century), and partly the product of the city’s expansion in modern times, it’s visually something of a mishmash of the old and the not so old, notably the 19th century railway station (now a shopping centre), and the old fish market (now a food court), and has a corresponding mix of traditional and more modern styles of bars and cuisine.<\/p>\n
