This is the commercial centre of the city stretching along the parallel shopping streets of Sierpes and Tetuan from the town hall to the Plaza del Duque, together with the streets to either side, and the old squares of San Francisco and El Salvador. Although primarily a shopping district, it has lots of bars that cater to the people who live, work and shop here. Touristy in parts, and with a couple or three new cocktail bars, but some good traditional watering holes too, and good food if you know where to look.<\/p>\n
