Puracepa

Still my favourite wine bar in town, Puracepa is a great place to stop in for a snack and a glass of wine, or  take friends for a light meal. It’s modern and stylish but with a very cosy and friendly ambience. The wine list is impressive and many varieties are offered by the glass. Beer is sold by the bottle, nothing on tap. And the tapas menu is small but exquisite. By far the very best ensaladilla de gambas I have ever tasted, and they do exceptional carrilladas as well. The food is beautifully presented and the service is attentive and helpful. If you have any questions about wine the owners and staff are very happy to spend time with you.

And if you especiallly enjoyed that particular foie, cheese or wine, well, you can buy some to take home with you!
