Voraz (“voracious” in English) is a joint venture of La Azotea and Puerto de Cuba, situated next to the main entrance of Parque los Principes in Los Remedios. The building is one of those art deco park café kiosks, where one imagines the pre-war middle classes enjoying their mid-morning coffee in the park, but times have changed. This new incarnation, while it still has the curved glass wall looking out on the park, and a free standing fireplace/stove, seems designed as a late night “cool” food and wine spot, complete with music and some disco style lighting. But you can also enjoy tapas midday and evenings either inside or out on the spacious terrace, making it a multi-purpose venue (which can also be booked for private events).

The menu is also in keeping with the trendy and playful decor, and it mostly works. The usual high quality local ingredients with a twist that La Azotea has become known for can be found here, along with an impressive wine list. Service is professional and efficient.
