There’s nothing Tex-Mex about Amor a la Mexicana, located in a little passage-way just off c/Francos. Nicely presented traditional dishes are served up with friendly and helpful explanations (though looking forward to the new menu that has descriptions under the names) and an excellent hot sauce, dubbed “be careful sauce” by my companion. Good selection of Mexican and local beers, but the wine list is short and disappointing. Love the kitch Mexican decor but the blasting loud Mariachi music really should be turned down a few notches. Overall a fun place to visit, though some of the dishes were a bit samey.
