Perhaps the first unusual thing you’ll notice when you go in are the mottos and quotations painted on the walls and ceiling, followed by the display case featuring homemade desserts that are just as delicious as they look. You can then go on to discover their special blend of traditional and innovative tapas, including several tasty vegetarian options.
The service and the food at the Vineria are consistently outstanding. There is also an extensive selection of wines by the glass, and a fabulous terrace overlooking the Murillo gardens.
But the very best thing is how you feel so at home there. The experienced and knowledgeable multi-lingual staff go out of their way to ensure you have a great time, which is a reflection of Juan Tarquini’s generous nature and attention to detail. Have recently tried a selection of their new tapas for spring 2011 and all I can say is… go!
