This place is amazing. It has two somewhat posh dining rooms, one up one down, and also an eensy-weensy bar for tapas. I usually go to the bar, when there is room to squeeze in, and I recently celebrated my birthday in one of the upstairs dining rooms. It was wonderful.
At the bar you can get quite an interesting selection of wines by the glass, more so than at other tapa bars. Also some fabulous tapas. Some of my favourites include: an asparagus flamenquín, breaded & fried rolled aubergine with prawns inside, stewed melt-in-your-mouth lamb in a honey sauce … and well, just about everything else.
The staff are very friendly and helpful … “oh what should I have today?” always ends up with quite a few good recommendations.

For some reason your comment isn’t showing up on the sidebar, nursemyra. Hmmm… oh there it is!

The food is great, the waiters have to be the most unhappy group of people I’ve ever seen - the owner is very firendly with thte Spanish patrons - the head waiter pretends that English does not not exist - great food - served by waiters chewings on lemons! Smile for Christs sake!

Hi Mark - we’ve certainly had quite different experiences with the waiters there.
To me all the staff are very warm and welcoming and have always treated me like ‘family’. And when I started this blog they were all keen to get in on the act and have their photos taken (all smiling). I’ve yet to meet the owner, which is curious considering the number of times I’ve been there.
