Next time I’m in Seville I’ll take this list with me and try all places I haven’t been yet. But of the ones I’ve been I’ld go again for Zelai and Eslava. Zelai is more innovative and has a twist, Eslava is plain good.

Hi Patricia and welcome!

It’s difficult to say exactlly when the orange trees blossom in Seville as it varies slightly from year to year, but they are usually out in March for about three weeks. Some years they have blossomed late February, other years later in March. But if you are here sometime in March you should experience them for at least a short while.

It really is gorgeous and worth coming back for.

Please tell me, WHEN do the orange trees blossom in Seville? I visited it once during orange blossom season 30+ years ago while studying in Spain for a year and this spring will be visiting again with my husband. I am so hoping I will not miss the season because the memory of the fragrance is the major factor drawing me back to Seville! Tell me please, when and how long do they bloom??

What a fantastic way to get to know the city! Through its fantastic gastronomy.

I am definitely going to have to find an excuse/reason to go to Sevilla now because I would LOVE to experience Sevilla with you as my foody guide

Hi Colleen, I'm not religious either but I just love this time of year. I recently spent a long weekend in Málaga and they really had some amazing Christmas lights . Scott, nice to see you again. Easter can be pretty crazy, especially in Seville. Christmas is fairly low-key other than the Cabalgata parade on the eve of Epiphany (Los Reyes). So, you'll be back in the spring?

That looks so beautiful. One thing I look forward to seeing, next year hopefully, is Spain at Christmas and Easter. Those seem like the best times of year for celebrations. Hope you are still doing well, and all the best for 2010!
